How It Works:

In a progressive raffle, the excitement builds as participants purchase tickets each week, vying for both a weekly prize and a chance to win an ever-growing jackpot. Here's how it typically operates:

1. Ticket Sales & Prize Distribution
   Each week, participants buy lottery tickets. The revenue from these sales is split three ways:

   • 50% goes to the nonprofits and operating the raffle.

   • 10% goes to the lucky participant who wins the weekly drawing.

   • 40% rolls over into the jackpot, which continues to grow week after week until it is won.

2. Drawing the Card
   After the weekly winner is drawn, they get the chance to select a card from a standard deck of playing cards. If they draw the special card — traditionally the Ace of Spades in Chase the Ace, the Queen of Hearts in Catch the Queen, or another designated card — they win the entire jackpot, which could be massive depending on how long the raffle has been running.

3. Jackpot Growth
   If the special card is not drawn, the jackpot rolls over to the next week, and the deck is reduced by the card chosen, increasing the odds of hitting the jackpot in future draws. The raffle continues weekly until someone picks the lucky card, bringing the game to an exciting conclusion.
