2. How does 605 Raffles support South Dakota nonprofits?
   Answer: South Dakota nonprofits can participate in the weekly 50/50 and progressive raffles or use the platform to run their own.

3. Who can participate in the raffles?
   Answer: Players must be at least 18 years old.

4. Is there an age requirement to buy raffle tickets?
   Answer: Players must be at least 18 years old.

Participation and Ticket Purchase

5. How do I purchase raffle tickets?
   Answer: Purchase tickets online using credit or debit cards and for cash at hosting venues participating in the Patriot Poker Raffle, Chase the Bulls, or Chase the Turkey.

6. What payment methods are accepted for ticket purchases?
   Answer: Credit or debit card and cash.

7. Can I buy tickets in person, or is it online only?
   Answer: Cash purchases are available only at participating South Dakota venues.

8. How will I receive my raffle ticket after purchase?
   Answer: Entry numbers are emailed to players as issued and are available for review online in their password-protected account.

Raffle Mechanics

9. What types of raffles does 605 Raffles offer?
   Answer: All of our raffles, including the progressives, are modified versions of a 50/50 raffle.

10. How does the 50/50 raffle work?
    Answer: As the name implies, it is a raffle where the prize is 50% of the money raised through ticket sales.

11. What is the "Chase the Ace" raffle, and how is it played?
    Answer: Chase the Ace and other progressives typically pay out 10 to 15% of the weekly raffle sales, with the remainder of the 50% allocated to prizes to build the jackpot until the triggering event results in the jackpot being awarded.

12. How are winners selected and notified?
    Answer: Winners are selected live using either our dice or lotto ball raffle platforms. They are notified by email and have up to 120 days to claim the prize. After that, another drawing is conducted to identify a new winner.

Prizes and Payouts

13. What prizes can I win, and how are they determined?
    Answer: The prizes are cash and are determined by how many tickets are sold and at what prices.

14. How do I claim my prize if I win?
    Answer: Winners must provide any state ID or driver’s license.

15. Are there any taxes or fees associated with winnings?
    Answer: Players outside of South Dakota are responsible for paying any taxes they may incur.

16. How can a nonprofit organization partner with 605 Raffles?
    Answer: They can either promote a raffle they are listed in as a local nonprofit or run their own raffles using our platform and marketing tools.

17. What percentage of ticket sales goes to the nonprofit?
    Answer: 37% or 74% of the money not paid out in prizes.

18. Can I choose which nonprofit my ticket purchase supports?
    Answer: Players must select a specific local nonprofit when purchasing tickets.

    Answer: Yes, we utilize the latest in cloud server and cybersecurity technologies.

20. Are the raffles conducted in compliance with South Dakota laws?
    Answer: Yes, we only work with nonprofit organizations that apply for and receive an approved raffle request form with the South Dakota Secretary of State.
